My cars sense of humor
By now everyone should know I love my car and my car loves me. Today I fell in love with my car a bit more as I found out it has a sense of humor and is a bit sarcastic. My car has been putting up with me playing some of my favorite songs over and over again. I'm listening to the soundtrack form the new movie 'Frozen' if you haven't heard the song "Let it go" I recommend a listen. That is the song I was playing for the umpteenth time when I found out about my cars sense of humor. I was on the way home singing along when the window suddenly goes "Whup! Bang!" just like that drops down with no warning. No sooner had that happened than I thought, "well this is going to be a cold trip home." when my favorite line in the song came on and I heard "The cold never bothered me anyway." I started laughing like a loon. I sang the song the whole way home grinning and laughing. Don't you wish you had a car as humorous as mine? I love my car. I also love my daddy for putting the window back in its track.

T-shirt Quilt.
A friend of my mother asked if I would make a T-shirt quilt for her daughter. Her daughter had collected the shirts from different productions from school and groups she had been in and some she had made for a special event she was attending. She didn't want all the shirts anymore and had seen this idea of a T-shirt quilt on pinterest. I had never made a quilt before but thought it might be fun so I said "Sure". That was the start of the insanity.
She gave me about 60 shirts I believe. Thankfully she is very organized and had each shirt marked on what she wanted. Example: " Front only. Front and back. Logo. Front and back together. Back only." You get the idea. When I laid all the pieces out I saw just how big this thing was going to be.
O_O That's what my face looked like as I laid all the pieces out and saw just how big this thing was going to be. It measures roughly 9.5 feet long and a bit over 7 feet wide. Now don't get me wrong. I knew I wasn't going to finish a quilt in 2 days and call it good. I just didn't expect it would take WEEKS!! I know. Silly me. I might be a little blond at the roots....no offense to any blonds reading this. You girls are a riot to be around. :)
Anyway....I finally finished the quilt yesterday and took some pictures. and now without further ado...
The Quilt.
This is pretty much a full view of the quilt. You can't see all of the bottom row but you can see top to bottom on the left side.
