Fun in the snow!

It was a Winter wonder land...then I came along!
It's easy to get on. It goes over your nose and ties in the back! Only sold in the U.S.A.
On the days that you go out side don't let your nose freeze! Get my handy dandy nose warmer! Comes in all colors and designs, in many sizes, girl not included. ;D ( I mad the skirt I'm wearing out of a pair of pants I converted.)

Jeffrey and I mad a real snow man..with no face... weird. Hope to get him a face soon.

The snow man was falling over so we had to fix him up quick. :) Really should name him. HHmmmmmm how about Mr. Fluffles? Well he is fluffy! kinda.

Not yet done .....

While doing the photo. shoot I had a sidekick...I could not resist putting this pic up of Victoria. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

This is what I wanted the dress to look like. I based the look off the book and used these 3 patterns for the top. I used the back and side back from the far left, the front from the center pattern, and the flap from the pattern on the far right.

This is the inside back lining.

This is the inside front.

Showing you the sparkles. :)

All the pretty sparkles.

My Elvin Day Dress

Victoria and I ready for a stroll.

Full and flowing sleeves (very hard to eat while wearing)

All my seams (as you can see) are french seams. I find that it works quite well with this material.

My Civil War Ball Gown

And I am ready for the ball....except my hair! XD
I hand sewed the lace along the neckline and the button wholes also. It took a bit of time but I'm happy with the results.

All my seams are french seams to prevent fraying and for looking pretty! :)

Sorry you can't really see the hoop-skirt..it's black XD It is the first hoop-skirt and petticoat that I have made. As you can see the petticoat has 2 layers. I did not make the blouse under the corset.

I didn't have the money to buy a busk for the front so I put the boning in and made and matched the loops and buttons.
